Focus on Wills & Probate

Our collection is not simply limited to property related deeds. One part of our collection that we find fascinating is our Wills and Probate records.

From our own experiences of carrying out research into our own family trees, we have previously found records of probate, but have struggled to find copies of wills and the actual grant of probate.

With so many of the properties in our collection, at some time in their history they have been sold or transferred following the death of the owner. We therefore have a growing collection of wills and probate records.
